Introduction
The last two months seem to have passed in a second as our
ideas and sketches were transposed from business plans, designs
and patterns to the reality of clothes, photo shoots and web
sites. Each step has been a learning curve and also a chance
to work with inspiring people who have given us invaluable
advice and help or done their job beyond the call of duty.

The clothes are in final production and we would like to offer

Where do we begin? So many things have happened over the last
two months. We have had some challenges on the productionside.
But under Manisha and SarmillaRoy, our production manager,
things are on track and looking beautiful – We can’t
wait to wear the clothes.

The
launch
We are now heads down building the website and Hey
Moscow is working on the catalogue, but we are on track
to open shop on the 17th of March – bar any leprechauns
popping up (our launch date coincides with St Patrick's day).

Direct
selling parties
We
are also looking for people to host a party at their home
or office – so if you want to invite some friends around
to have a private fitting, and earn 10% off all the sales

Ethical
Consumer and Ethical Consumer World
Ethical
consumer magazine is conducting a survey on the most and
least ethical companies and products in the last year. Have
your say and let the companies know how they are doing . You
can also win ethically me clothes for your time and effort!
The prizes
will be presented at Ethical
Consumer World (link) in April – we will be taking
a stand so please pop over and see us.
4. Interesting Articles / Information
With our
noses to the grindstone, articles have been piling up on our
desks and it is rather nice to spend five minutes looking
out at the world – and what a world it is.
A flyer
caught Meagan's eye – from the
Peace March on 15th Feb 2003. She'd who had never taken
a stand on anything went along, and what an experience it
was. Every shape of human was there, together, peacefully
(allthough some whistle blowers did nearly get their whistles
forcefully removed) and for very different reasons all saying
the same thing – ‘No War’. People continue
to campaign and here are two initiatives that may interest
you:
On the
down was seeing Littlewoods
‘amend’
their ethical processes.
But ending
on some good news - Did you know it is Fair
Trade Fortnight? – the perfect excuse we're off
to buy some of that chocolate!
